About Giselle Parker - Actor and Movement Specialist for Stage and Screen

Empowering Performers Through Movement and Storytelling

Artistic Mission

I am an actor, movement director, choreographer, and intimacy coordinator working across stage and screen.

My work is rooted in physical storytelling and collaborative performance-making. I am interested in how movement can shape narrative, deepen character, and support performers in finding work that is embodied, truthful, and specific.

I regularly collaborate with directors and creative teams to develop the physical language of a production. This may involve building movement for text-based work, creating choreography, or supporting performers in rehearsal to unlock clarity and confidence in their physical choices.

Industry Standard & Best Practice

Alongside my creative practice, I contribute to industry development and professional standards.

I am an elected member of the Equity Dance Committee and a member of the Choreographer & Movement Director Network, contributing to ongoing conversations around best practice and the role of movement professionals within the industry.

Training & Professional Affiliation

I trained at Laban, the Royal Academy of Dance, and completed Intimacy Coordination training with CINTIMA.

I am a fully qualified fitness professional, as well as a Level 4 assessor.

I am a member of Equity and BECTU, and a certified Intimacy Coordinator with SAG-AFTRA.
